I'm not sure what you mean, but any template that put the relevant metadata in the YAML should do for Dataview. (You can also put the metadata in the note itself, but I wouldn't recommand it.)

My template for the YAML is the following:

Note that this template generate wikilinks based on my vault structure, but you can easily edit it to your convenience. Let me know if you have any question.
