I'm ending up with a .docx file that contains the matrix first, then a loop of "Assessment state" listings, and then followed by my Merge Template and Merge Items.
What I expected:
I thought that if I had a Merge Template it would only use the template I wrote there (because I couldn't edit the Template if Merge Template was selected √) but instead I get one group of findings in the document as a summary and then a duplicate series below with the actual details and impacted hosts below.
tl;dr
I don't know if I'm explaining this very well, but I'm trying to determine how the Template and Merge Templates are used, when they're implemented, and how to generate very succinct summary reports and detailed findings reports but not both in the same document.

Merged template working like "real" nessus, the top of the page contains the finding details, and under the description the list of merged findings. In nessus case I merge the findings by the plugin name.
Before you change the merging option, clean the directory manually.
