Included in Dynmap starting with v0.14 are four color scheme files: default.txt, flames.txt, ovocean.txt, and sk89q.txt. Shown here are some example renders of each color scheme on the same terrain. Due to orientation differences the flatmap and default renderer use different terrain samples. Click for full size.
