I'd like to scale the volume on an external display as the default is too loud; i.e. map DDC values so that 50% volume on the actual display turns into the new "100%" volume. I've tinkered with the skew and range maximum under DDC Value range, but that didn't seem to do anything. Is this something that BetterDisplay can do?

Hmm. If you changed the DDC value range maximum to 50 (which should precisely do what you need) and that did not help then I am not sure what could be the problem. Try changing it to something even lower to see if this even does anything - if not, then there is some other problem (maybe DDC control is not working at all for volume?) |

Turns out I had to change the DDC range and then adjust the volume - I'm guessing to force a "refresh" of the range. Thanks! |
