The DisplayLink display is fully managed by the DisplayLink app. Some versions support some specific HiDPI resolutions. Other than that you can't do much about it. You can try creating a virtual screen and mirror or stream it to the DisplayLink display as a workaround. |

I have an M1 MacBook Air connected to two external 4K displays. One is connected via the DisplayPort port on my OWC Thunderbolt dock and the other is connected via an HP DisplayLink unit (model: HSTND-C006), connected to the dock via USB 3 and then to the display, also via DisplayPort.
No matter what display I connect to the DisplayLink adapter, BetterDisplay never offers the High Resolution (HiDPI) option for that display. As a result, text looks a bit grubby on the display connected to the DisplayLink adapter. All drivers/software are up to date.
Is there a solution to this? Thanks in advance for replies.
