Unable to use Custom-scaled resolutions

I created a custom-scaled resolution 1920x1080. It says it is available as HiDPi.
But when I try to select the 1920x1080p Hidpi, it is not working.

There seems to be a bug in the display driver of Macs with integrated Intel GPUs (I suppose you are using such a Mac) which seems to prevent some modes from activating properly (depending on unknown circumstances, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't - there is no any flag in the display mode list that mark any of these as invalid). Try enabling flexible scaling in the app and see if some other resolutions in the vicinity do work.

(alternatively you can try creating a bunch of other custom resolutions keeping the aspect ratio and expect some of them working).

I do not have Pro subscription so I can't enable/disable flexible scaling. Please check screenshot to see its current state.
Also, Idk if it is a bug or what, but I tried creating custom resolutions but none of them are listed in Display Mode even after Rebooting the system.
Am I doing something wrong? Please check my screenshot 🙏

By default only modes matching the current aspect ratio is shown. Open the Filter... section for other aspect ratios. By default hte app does not show resolutions below 720p as those do not work most of the time in practice + not enough for normal macOS operation - you can change that under the advanced section of Settings/Displays/Overview.
