Hi, not sure what to do about this. I've been using BetterDisplay for about 2-3 months without any issue. Earlier this week, I was notified of an update and after completing, my mac is pretty much unusuable. On open, my screen goes completely black and I'm forced to restart my laptop. Every time I've tried to open the app, It turns off my screen and my laptop reboots itself. I usually output to a LGC3 42" but havent even been able to try reconnecting since my laptop is unusuable with the app open. What do I do? |

Do you get any particular crash log? Did you update macOS or the app or both? Sonoma 14.4 introduced some general issues that causes crashes with external displays, for more info see this: If the issue is caused by the app, you can simply try resetting it by issuing this command:

If the issue is caused by the app, you can simply try resetting it by issuing this command:
defaults delete pro.betterdisplay.BetterDisplayMore info on how to reset the app: https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay/wiki/Safe-mode,-app-reset,-app-removal
