I would one up this,
I currently use the title/window class of my terminal on launch in order to apply window rules (both in kde and Hyprland) and launch a global/background terminal. Without the ability to specify wither the title or window class (as I launch one per screen so they need different classes or titles) I lose a lot of flexibility in managing terminals. I know this is a bit more niche way to use the terms, but it affords Linux users a lot more flexibility under wayland to script window placement and behavior.
I also would like to see the ability to change the window class on Wayland. I have scripts I use that rely on being able to distinguish the class string of a window on Hyprland. Though, I could rewrite them to use the title, the class is better as the title can change depending on the program that is running in the terminal.
