Describe the bug

Provide an option for a fallback font so that characters not available in the primary font may be picked from the fallback font. This works well for glyphs, emojis and powerline font characters.

I noticed there is no UI for changing the fallback list (probably related to #789).

Is there any workaround right now that I can change the fallback list, like editing some configuration files?
