In the Introduction section of the Rules Spec I would like to see some short description of how this specification does or does not relate to previous W3C rules-like work. This would help me know what it's doing differently or the same and would allow me to appreciate the motivation for a new W3C rules specification.
Some previous W3C rules work that I'm aware of is:

There is a non-normative Related Work section in the Profile Vocabulary that did this for that specification.
