Change Proposal:

Rationale

Consider these customisation options for users with sensory sensitivities and cognitive impairments. Allowing adjustments to colour schemes, font sizes, layout density, and the ability to disable animations and auto-play features makes the digital environment more accessible and reduces the risk of sensory overload or emotional distress.

User Needs:

  • I need the ability to customise the visual elements of the interface, such as colour schemes, font sizes, and contrast settings to reduce visual clutter and sensory stimuli.
  • I need options to disable animations, auto-playing videos, or other dynamic content that may cause sensory overload or emotional distress.
  • I need control over the layout density, allowing me to simplify complex interfaces that can be visually overwhelming.
