New Scheduled Task - Delete Snapshots , with run one time

I created a script to delete snapshot after X days
my problem is I dont know how to configure the retentionDays

this is my script in VRO

the TaskScheduler was created on my VC under my VM , but the option "Delete snapshots older than" not set!

Let me try to take a look

So... I am 99% sure it is not possible. The reason for that is that this data object SnapshotSelectionSpec is very new and it is required to configure the retention. This object was introduced in vSphere API 8.0.3. Have a feeling that current version of VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator Plug-in for vCenter Server 8.1.4.24375516 doesnt support it. Yet.

If it is a must for you to have this - you have an alternative - in the same documentation that @unbreakabl3 sent you can check the Show WSDL type definition button - using this on the object and on the parent that actually executes the operation can help you to build a SOAP payload which you can send to execute the operation. However, this is a lot harder to build and maintain compared to the vCenter plugin usage.

Another alternative you can try is the new JSON API - it is a REST API alternative to some of the SOAP operations. On first glance it should be possible to use it to achieve your goal:
