😞 No response from experimental_streamText with a tool with an async execute that makes a resource call

👋🏽 Hi, everyone.

I have an issue with a tool I'm using with the experimental_streamText function. My tool runs successfully (it's execute function logs an async response) but I'm not getting any chat response & no error gets thrown in the console.

I think I'm doing something wrong but can't figure where ;(. I've checked the documentation but didn't see any implementation of an async execute function that makes an actual resource call.
