nshmp-haz is a Java library developed by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) earthquake hazards program (EHP) to conduct probabilistic seismic hazard analyses (PSHAs) in support of the National Seismic Hazard Model Project (NSHMP). The primary goals of the library are:
- to enable high performance seismic hazard calculations required to generate detailed maps over large areas and
- to support a variety of USGS web applications related to seismic hazards research and the dissemination of hazard data.
