What went wrong?

When deploying a Ubuntu 22.04 machine with vmware the network stack in /etc/netplan does not configure the interface correctly.

A fix is to remove the original netplan file.

Specify the build host system.

Ubuntu 22.04

Are you building with docker?

Operating System with Errors

Ubuntu 22.04.x (jammy)

Which generated disk image is not working?

VMDK (vSphere, ESXi)
