[Feature request] Temporarily show a marker on the map when hovering mouse over location search item

Hi,

Currently it is difficult to precisely locate the search results without adding a marker on the map. We can either click the first button in the results list to center the map over the element (but it's still difficult to locate it) or click the second button to create a persistent marker on the map.

It would be great if a temporary marker was placed in the exact location upon hovering the mouse over a search element in the list (just like in OSM).

We worked on it with #2545 and it will be part of the next release 👍
