getting number of daily visitors from the API

pretty much what it says🙂

I can get the daily value for pageviews but didn't find anything in the documentation to get visitor data.
Do we need to fetch the sessions and then identify the unique sessions?

Was also trying to fetch data just for today but the value for visitors always returns zero.

Not sure why that would happen. That is the correct endpoint.

All the websites are assigned to a team, could that be the cause? Would it change the API endpoint I need to use?
