Feature Request: use the label in a task-list in a useful manner

Description

Currently task-item renders like this:

If we used

<label for="checkbox_id">This is the label</label>

we would make the label clickable, which would toggle the checkbox.

The label is editable, so clicking the label should have you edit, not toggle the checkbox...

Ok, I'm new here, but wouldn't the renderHTML() be for the static non-editable HTML and addNodeView() for the editable? At least when both functions exist?

I created a CustomTaskItem which creates a HTML code with renderHTML() which doesn't include <input type="checkbox"> because I'm using that HTML code on a static, non-editable page and I can't have an input field there.

Actually, my use-case changed after I had written that original post - in this case that I have now, the clickable label wouldn't make any sense - as I'm using the renderHTML() version on a non-editable page.

But actually it would be nice to be able to toggle the checkbox on a "non-editable page", when the editor doesn't otherwise exist. But I think that would be quite difficult.

All-in-all, this feature request could be forgotten, as the toggling probably won't be happening in a renderHTML() content...
