Mouse not working with snap version on manjaro linux

When I run the pdk, the login screen is shown, together with mouse cursor, but the cursor won't move.
Keyboard works, can login using that and run terminal.

Note: I have a touchscreen and nor touch is working in the virtual environment.

Same on snap version on Fedora Rawhide

command ubports-pdk.pdk start is not working for me either, Fedora 40 Amd64

But I tried running just with quemu in workdir qemu-system-x86_64 -m 2048 -drive file=pdk-image-cache/default/hdd.raw,format=raw -device AC97 -device virtio-vga-gl -display sdl,gl=on
running WM this way has working mouse
but the device is not listed in adb devices

issue may be with missing some mounts or dependencies fredldotme/qemu-ut-pdk@master...ogra1:qemu-virgil-snap:master

For me it also works to replace the -display gtk,gl=on with -display sdl,gl=on

you can also call ubuntu-touch-pdk with --gui=sdl
