I think it needs RU AdList: Counters which might need some time until it's implemented as a non-default sub-list for uBOL: #37 (reply in thread)

Current mv3 limits allow additional filters. Do you know if we will see this feature in uBOL?

@dimisa-RUAdList I don't think it's possible until MV3's scripting.registerContentScripts supports injecting code as strings and MV3's DNR support adding custom rules.

I have not studied this issue, but in Adblock Plus for Google Chrome, a subscription to additional filters is available now.

@dimisa-RUAdList Yeah, because they don't use declarative approach as uBOL, which also makes the extension having to use and wake up its own service worker regularly, which sacrifices perfomance and reliability (you can watch videos to see why, especially the reliability): https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uBOL-home/wiki/Frequently-asked-questions-(FAQ)#is-ubo-lite-a-bad-faith-attempt-at-converting-ubo-to-mv3

What's the official link to the "RU AdList: Counters" list?

@dimisa-RUAdList Is it an issue if I merge it with "RUAd List" as a single entry in the regional listset?

Most likely, Yandex will start making attempts to bypass those solutions that are implemented in Counters. As a result, these solutions will stop working. It is better to make this filter optional, disabled by default.

Since the issue is more about adding more lists to uBOL, should we transfer to uBOL-home repo?

@gorhill gorhill transferred this issue from uBlockOrigin/uAssets Oct 12, 2024

Add "Filter lists" pane in dashboard

The DNR API now supports enabling 50 static rulesets put of a
maximum of 100 (instead of 10 out of 50 originally). Thus given
the potentially growing number of static rulesets, the available
stock rulesets has been moved to its own pane, with the following
improvements:
- Support sublists
- Support search

Aditionally, "RU AdList: Counter" has been added as a stock
ruleset.

Other changes:
- Do not re-evaluate regexes which failed validation
- Better reduce `removeparam` rules
