As we discussed this repo should be a common ground for kind of external documentation for easy reference. One of those documents in mind was the POSIX standard. This roughly 4K paged doc seems to be under some strange legal requirements: While technically free to dowload from the Open Group, you can only get an HTML version from there. Another option is to join the Austin Group as outlined here and obtain a legal copy as a registered member. While this copy is a declared as a draft, it contains everything the latest spec contains. The last legal option would be to buy it from the IEEE website for over 1000$ (I got mine from there via university access, so I don't think I can legally upload this exact copy here). Maybe the easiest would be to link the Open Group HTML version here?
