Text area max height

Hey team,

Textarea does not accept heigh as a prop, how could I give a fixed height to it and have a scroll for overflow?

I tried the following

Hey @hema-segment ! Can you share a screenshot of the intended design and describe the customer use case you're trying to solve for?

The Textarea shows scroll once it hits bottom, but we want it to have a fixed height. Setting height doesn't seem to work or wrapping parents to have max-height didn't work too. If you see something I am doing wrong let me know.

Sorry, we're super understaffed this week and I'm doing a hosting re-platform this week.

I'm not opposed to make the max rows adjustable, it's an easy fix. I don't think it'll solve your problem long term. That might even be a bug in Popover to uncover.

No ETA on the max rows, likely next week.

As discussed in the session with your designer, please position the popover to the right of the button. This will give your popover more room to grow and not cut off the bottom quite so badly.

The max rows fix is in our backlog, it'll land sometime in January most likely, but as we discussed, if you position the popover to the right, you might not even need it.
