Hi @anusha-a2

So to kick off, the wording in the guidelines "keep the placement of Progress Steps consistent between different pages (steps)" is about the overall placement of the whole component. For example, don't have them at the top of one step, but at the bottom of the next.

In the up-coming Wizard Template, there is going to be some guidance around forks in logic:

If you need to use Progress Steps and there’s forking logic in the flow, hide Progress Steps until there’s a single path forward, or make the step labels generic enough to cover all variants of a task.

So that might be something to consider. If the path through the process is somewhat indeterminate and variable, progress…
