Maybe this can only be updated by staff or not, but there should be something that allows contributers to let the staff know that the TOS of a service has been updated since last annotation.

Take Factorio for example. The TOS and Privacy Policy in ToS;DR only has the version of the TOS and Privacy from 2018, but there was an update to both these in October, 2024. And although the ToS and Privacy Policy dont get updated that often it would make it easier for us contributers to reliably give the most up-to-date annotation to the most-up-date documents.

ToS;DR: https://edit.tosdr.org/services/717/annotate
Factorio Tos: https://factorio.com/terms-of-service
Factorio Privacy Policy: https://factorio.com/privacy-policy
