If you are using openSUSE Tumbleweed (rolling edition), you can install it with zypper without adding additional repositories. but if you are using openSUSE Leap (non-rolling edition), you need to add the experimental |
Do not mix rolling and non-rolling repositories on your openSUSE installation, it could cause very bad things to happen. |

I'm not certain what you really refer to, since https://software.opensuse.org/ only directs to https://build.opensuse.org/ for download and installation.
