Use the maintained ARM fork on ARM.

I would like to point out, that there is a well maintained ARM fork by Heikki Lindholm, on notabug.org
and there are regularly built and signed releases of it on sourceforge
These releases are already used by alternative projects, like Kicksecure/tb-updater
So perhaps as long as the Tor Project can't close their already 9 years!!! old ticket, perhaps it would make sense to consider Heikki Lindholm's fork.
That could potentially close a number of open issues:
