🚨 Laser 〽️ Altimetry
This package contains the code to collocate the ICESat-2 sea ice and cloud data products, save leads and floe features. Gridded granules can be generated to allow faster compositing. Codes to perform simple monthly compositing are included too.
2022 ICESat-2 Hackweek ice-discharge project group
Code used to generate NASA's ATL14 and ATL15 products for the ICESat-2 project
Machine Learning data pipeline and Jupyter Book for the DeepIceDrain project
Utilities for organizing and manipulating point data
Poster presented at the New Zealand Antarctic Science Conference 2021 in Christchurch on 10 February 2021.
Code used in the publication: "Buoyancy-driven flexure at the front of Ross Ice Shelf, Antarctica, observed with ICESat-2 laser altimetry"
Python codes to measure rifts using the ICESat-2 ATL06 data product. Assumes that the entire dataset is available locally.
Interactive visualization and data extraction tool for ICESat-2 ATL14/15 Gridded Land Ice Height Products
Interactively visualize and contextualize high-resolution spaceborne LiDAR data from NASA's ICESat-2 mission, using the OpenAltimetry API along with the Google Earth Engine Python API and the python package geemap for mapping.
Tools for Estimating Grounding Zone Locations with data from NASA Polar Altimetry Missions
Poster material for AGU Fall Meeting 2021 hybrid conference on 13-17 December 2021.
(WORK IN PROGRESS) Derive estimated canopy heights from raw ICESat-2 ATL03 photon returns.
