main.bas contains two checks of this form:

If Mm.Device$ <> "Colour Maximite" Then

They need changing to:

If Mm.Device$ <> "Colour Maximite" And Mm.Device$ <> "Maximite" Then

the CM1 build should then also work on the Mono Maximite.
