Manual positioning for bigger diagrams

Hi, I have a quite large diagram, and the default layouting creates an unreadable diagram. I tried to improve the layout by putting things into containers, using direction and near, but nothing seems to really help.

Is there a way to position things absolutely? It took quite some time to create this diagram and it would be a shame if I had to recreate in something else than d2.

You can with top and left, but it only works with TALA
