Conda Release supporting Windows + Python 3.11 #66217
Comments
@dcompiled, |
@dcompiled, conda create --name tf python=3.11 |
I am trying to do this using miniconda which uses conda-forge as it source. There is no current version of tensorflow in conda-forge and this is probably the root cause. Are there any plans to release a copy of tensorflow to conda-forge on windows? |
After creating Conda environment please use pip to install TF package. For GPU package please use pip install tensorflow[and-cuda] that will install all the required compatible cuda/cudnn packages. Please ensure compatible cuda driver is installed manually. Also Conda-forge is a community led collection of recipes, build infrastructure and distributions for the conda package manager which the tensorflow doesn't have any type of control on. If the issue is with the conda-forge, please try to check with the respective team for the quick response. Thank you! |

Current behavior?
Unable to build a conda environment with tensorflow on python 3.11 on windows but works fine on Linux. I am aware I can use pip to install this but prefer not to. Any plans to address this?
