As an R user, I would like to have a package that I could download from GitHub/CRAN and use and you would support that is the equivalent in functionality of the tsc library.

I'm afraid we don't have plans to create and support our own R client, but I have found a client in R that supports a subset of functionality. It's not super active, but they might add features by request:
