How to access data partition created with repart? #2353

Ok, thatnk you. I guess I missunderstood the concept a bit.

What I came up with is the following:

30-data.conf

[Partition]
Type=linux-generic
Format=ext4
CopyFiles=/data:/
SizeMinBytes=1G
SzeMaxBytes=1G
1. I create the data partition after the root, makes the order of loopback devices created more logical (1 = efi, 2 = root, 3 = data). I am wondering, since I thought that creating a the conf file like I had, that the content of /data will be deployed into the new partition and the content of the /data folder inside the root will be empty afterwards; the order root vs data doesn't seem to matter for that)
2. create the image with mkosi
3. on the host: create loop devices for each partitio…
