Currently, ProxySQL uses SQLite as its backend database for configuration storage. I would like to connect ProxySQL to MySQL instead, allowing for better scalability and integration with cloud services like AWS RDS.
This feature would enable easier deployment in environments such as AWS ECS while ensuring centralized and persistent configuration storage.
Is there an existing option to achieve this, or is this feature under consideration for future releases? If not, it would be great to explore adding support for MySQL as a backend storage option.
Looking forward to your thoughts!
