We should revisit trying to get a working docker image with VisIt and Python 3. Right now we only have a python 2 image, but we have repositories that should be updated to be testing on python 3 (CNERG/IsogeomGenerator and Svalinn/Dagmc-viz). The reason why a visit-python3 image does not exist right now was previous difficulties with the install of Visit. It could very well be fixed on the visit end now that python 2 is fully deprecated.
