INSERT INTO behavior

Am I wrong or parameters cannot be applied to the table which is the target of an INSERT INTO statement?

Example NOT WORKING:

LET $tb = 'person'; INSERT INTO type::table($tb) (name) VALUES ('John') [ON DUPLICATE KEY....]

Omitting the type::table casting doesn't help either

Hi @tetotechy no you can't use functions/parameters in the table part of an INSERT statement at the moment.
