This was already discussed several times. We still don't have a reliable solution to display links in a dynamic text response. Markdown seems to be the most promiseful solution.

EUPT uses HTML to display lists and links.
Neither Markdown nor HTML are machine readable but HTML is more flexible.
Drop Markdown in favor of HTML? @mweidling @mathias-goebel
