per precautions and limits, nitro v1 protocol contains some constants aiming to ensure that running channels can fit as calldata in an L1 transaction in the event of a challenge path, & that adjudication operations can complete within the allowed BlockGasLimit.
go-nitro currently contains no such constants limiting, eg, the # of guarantees in a running ledger channel.
On-chain adjudication for go-nitro may take one of several different forms:
