About me:

  • I am from the Aarhus area in Denmark.
  • I am educated in computer science and mathematics. My professional work experience is at the very end of its third decade and I have experience from multiple areas of business, having worked with highly technical constructions both as an employee and a self-employed.
  • I am interested in all things related to computers and controllable by programs and with a keen eye to lose coupling both statically and at runtime. I am a specialist in Java, open source software systems, and all things related to implementing IT system at scale.
  • I very much fancy @lombok.Builder(builderClassName="Builder",toBuilder=true).
  • I love to adjust and ride bicycles, socialize with my pet cats, fantasize about the concept of the Xenomorph, and occasionally meet with some very good, long-time friends.

Working on:

  • Have within the last years started to catch and push out manifestations of reusable code and increasingly larger ideas into GitHub repositories, some of which have started to become public, with associated artifacts released on Maven Central.
  • Currently, my interests are Microservice Architectures, loose coupling, always persistence and communication, home automation and industrial automation, and some tooling for programmers and operations in general.
  • Am about to push a number of smaller libraries related to Java technicalities into their semantically first version.
  • Am in the process of preparing the first release of a Gradle plugin addressing classical XML handling in a new, interesting wrapping with the ambition to extend upon this work and proceed with other plugins, some of which may become JSON related.
  • Want to pursue new ideas, including one about the static and dynamic visualization of microservices as graphs, tying together existing tools into a new framework.

Importance of sponsorship:

  • Basic appreciation and support, including sending a signal of interest and trust.
  • Let me focus more on producing and maintaining reusable libraries, giving me time for solid craftsmanship.
  • Let me pursue new, innovative ideas in the quest of technical progress for the software community and businesses benefiting from it, ultimately spawning yet newer innovation.
  • Help me gear up with better tools, including hardware and software.
  • Put light on some of my ideas, both some small and minuscule, and some significant and astonishing.
@sabroe

It would mean accomplishing an initial and significant interest, more time to read and acquire knowledge which together with more exercise and oxygenated blood through my brain would be driving factors for new ideas -- and new equipment to help me produce working software.
