Hi! I'm Kirill Chibisov and I like to write Alacritty and deal with projects no-one wants to deal with.

While I'm mostly known for breaking the Alacritty's event handling & rendering, denying users' feature requests, and hiding Alacritty documentation into man pages, I also maintain rust-windowing projects and pick up everything which gets abandoned there. Some highlights of my works:

• Updated glutin to a maintainable state, and also made it not depend on winit, after 2 years of inactivity;
• made Alacritty run on your old devices;
• constantly breaking winit APIs, so you have something to update and probably more stable Wayland backend;
• being used as 'advanced' rustfmt in smithay projects, so you don't have to know what 8 level deep indention in rust code looks like.

Jokes aside, maintaining and working on winit project is hard and challenging task, especially when some maintainers step off. By supporting me, you're increasing my interest in fixing bugs and adding features I don't find myself working normally or continue on features I abandon due to lack of time to implement them on at least all the desktop platforms winit support. The support I get will be spent on sustaining my mental health and buying hardware, which will
help me dealing with winit, like Apple hardware I won't normally buy.
