I'm James, and I'm building Bits—an open-source platform that gives creators sovereignty over their audience relationships and revenue.

The problem: Creators build audiences on platforms they don't control. When they want to monetize, they're stuck with closed ecosystems that take cuts, impose arbitrary rules, and hold their data hostage.

The solution: Bits is the monetization layer creators control. Self-hostable, censorship-resistant, with first-class support for both traditional payments and cryptocurrency. Video hosting, access control, subscriptions, one-time purchases. WordPress.org for the creator economy.
