Hi, I'm Deren:

• I'm from Scotland, and I'm currently studying a PhD in Dundee
• My PhD focuses on thermal/infrared-focused rasterization simulations of spacecraft, and the generation of photo-realistic images using these simulations - this means i focus on making quick C++ OpenGL prototypes to prove theories/concepts!
• In my spare time, i like to focus on improving my abilities as a programmer and experimenting with new toolkits and languages - e.g. developing Rust-based utilities for fun/practice - as well as a bit of Bash/Python scripting to make my life easier.
• I enjoy customising the tools i use to chase the perfect setup - I use Linux as my daily-driver OS and have done for ~5 years, moving from Ubuntu Gnome to Manjaro KDE
