Who are you and what do you do?
PDAP is consolidating data from every U.S. agency into a critical public resource. Criminal justice systems chronicle their activity with published reports, but each municipality acts independently. There is no single source of data documenting the police system.

To build one, we're building tools by & for transparency activists to make public data accessible.

We're is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with EIN 85-4207132.

How do we work?
We're a traditional non-profit: we have a board and small staff, plus a rotating cast of volunteers, with a flat organizational structure. Our goal is to collect public police data, and there's a lot of it. If you're reading this, there is still work to do.
We're a learning organization, and we want to hear from you. If you have questions, concerns, suggestions, or expertise, reach out in Discord or to [email protected].
