Recurring API error message

Hi.

I am loving using wptools, but I am having trouble catching errors. I have been able to stop the Lookup Errors in my compiler, but an "API error" continually pops up every time a search in Wikipedia does not exist (even though I catch the error in my compiler). Attached is a screenshot of my code. Thank you.
