Auto Updates on MacOSDear users, We've just released the second version with code signing and notarizing. This means that you should now be able to experience the auto-updating feature. Please let us know if this feature works correctly. When you open your current version (24.12.2), it should give you a desktop notification saying that a new version is available and when you close the application, it should update in the background. The next time you open it, you should be on the latest version (25.1.0). |

Hello!
It worked perfectly on Intel Mac and Silicon Mac M2 MBA. Thanks for the hard work and diligence in making it easier to use. The update also took care of now not having to reauthorize the mirroring feature for jw.org <http://jw.org/> feature, another great timesaver. The multiple close commands is still and issue on Macs FYI.
We appreciate you brothers.
Thanks,
Mark Cillis

macOS Support Group
Why?
Dear users, I have tagged some of you here, because you've been linked in one way or another with M³ issues involving macOS.
The reason for this, is that neither @sircharlo nor I use M³ on macOS and I think it would be helpful to have a place where we can ask you for assistance with testing macOS specific features. If you don't want to be included in this, feel free to unsubscribe from this discussion. If you do want to be included, thank you for your willingness to help!
What?
What I expect from this discussion is that every once in a while @sircharlo or I will post a question or request here in the hopes that some of you are available to help. If you have a macOS specific issue, problem, request or question, please use the designated channels for that (report an issue or open a discussion). That way, this discussion can focus on the questions and requests we actually need your help with.
Where?
I thought this would be a good place for it, but if you guys have a better idea of how we could set this up, please let me know!
Important
The questions and requests might involve installing a test version of M³. If this is the case, don't do this in the Kingdom Hall! Test versions could be unstable.
