Product variant structure

Hi
I am having a difficult time understanding the Product Catalog structure in Shopizer.
I am able to create a product and it's variants and I can sert the price on the product level and the option level.
but for the inventory i am able to set at product level only which doesn't make sense to me.

An example I expect to do is :

• iPhone 13 is a product containing common attributes
• Color variants are subsets containing array of objects with common values . example : blue, white, silver
• the sku which will contain the item price and the inventory value

can someone please guide me how this can be done out of the box?
