Evil is more ergonomic than default emacs bindings, but I rely on it for many packages:
C-g
C-x C-e
C-d p f / p
C-c j
It would be great if evil can be used for everything. There is some literature here: https://github.com/emacs-evil/evil-collection/blob/master/modes/cider/evil-collection-cider.el
