RME DriverKit driver v4.x beta for MacOS and TotalMix 1.80 seem to have a bug at this time rendering line and software channels uncontrolable #6
Comments
So some months later the DriverKit is out of beta, but i think the problem still remains, any updates on your side? |
Sorry for responding so late, I was kind of preoccupied with work and my Fireface PSU died, took me a while to get a replacement so without the interface I couldn't really look into the issue. |
I totally understand, this is not a paid product with support, whatever you do with you spare time 🥇 all good 👍 Under Mac M1/Apple Silicon Loupedeck still has no native support which causes high cpu usage most of the time - at least on my system. |
It appears the RME DriverKit driver beta v4.x with TotalMix 1.80 has a bug with OSC which results in line input and software channels not being able to be fully controlled (only mute, phase and gain are working at this point).
I would suggest that you don't install the beta until that's fixed by them.
