I know it wouldn't be the easiest of undertakings, but is there any plan in the future to leverage Rails ability to run parallel test?
There are some existing libs that might help with the cypress side of things: cypress-parallel

No official plans for this but it does look like a great idea.
hmmm, it would need a separate server and database for each thread, and if you could get each thread to point to a different host then it could work.
