Pulled a golden legendary, was counted as Epic and legendary timer did not reset.

Got the golden legendary 4 packs ago. Epic counter went down to zero, legendary still at 9 (see screenshots of log and pity timer bars

It is expected. 1,2,1,1* stands for 1 common, 2 rare, 1 epic, 1 golden legend

You got an epic so the epic pity timer resets.

However, golden cards do NOT reset the pity timer, you still expect another non-golden before the pity timer reaches the line (9 for epic or 39 for legend).
This may be unintuitive, but there is an option that allows you to set "golden card reset regular pity timer". It is called Golden Pity Timer and the tooltip is Golden card reset regular pity timer or not, added since v1.4.9.
