[Feature request] Choosing variables from pre-prepared ones

So, sometimes there is a need to let the user select required variables, but there is no desire to give him the opportunity to enter them manually. It would be great if it were possible to define a list of variables that could be selected from a drop-down list, radio button or checkbox.
